What to expect
Your appointment runs around 120 minutes including numbing. After a cleanse and 20–30 minutes of numbing, your practitioner passes the Dermapen across the treatment area, then applies a soothing, hydrating serum. Expect redness similar to mild sunburn for 24–48 hours, which settles quickly. Results build over 4–6 weeks as new collagen forms, and improve further over a course.
Aftercare
For 24 hours avoid makeup, and for 48 hours skip the gym, sauna, swimming and direct sun. Keep skin hydrated with gentle products, avoid active ingredients (retinol, acids, vitamin C) for a few days, and apply a broad-spectrum SPF daily. Your practitioner will give you a tailored plan.
